A unique and exciting opportunity to join a thriving school as an appointment to the Senior Leadership Team with responsibility for all support staff functions. The School Business Manager is responsible to the Headteacher and the Governors for the management of the school's financial affairs, personnel, premises, support services and administration.
You will be an effective communicator and strategic thinker, who will have a recognised financial or management qualification and successful experience in these areas.
In addition, you will ideally have:
- Sound experience of financial management and budgetary planning and control
- An ability to identify, research, develop, cost and implement new initiatives
- Experience of ICT
- Experience of managing a team
- Previous experience of working in a school
